Assessment of active citizenship

Active Citizenship (AC) is a complex and multidimensional notion that encompasses related constructs, such as civic political engagement, competency, citizens’ identity, democratic values, among others. However, different studies offer models of AC, focusing on specific aspects it. In this paper, we focus the research instruments used in large international they reflect how constructs are understood interpreted by authors. This paper reviews frameworks surveys seven AC to elaborate comprehensive conceptual framework incorporates dimensions, signposts main domains, defines relationships between them. elucidates current views operationalization can be not only develop for future assessment, but also provide context better understanding interpretating studies.
